What A Volunteer Template Does
Volunteer templates let your team build reusable, spreadsheet-style rota layouts.
Use them when you want to:
- keep a familiar ministry worksheet format
- reuse the same layout every week or month
- import an existing Excel or CSV schedule design
- standardize how assignments are presented across ministries
Template Details
Each template includes:
- a template name
- category and optional ministry filter
- description
- a spreadsheet-style sheet layout
- repeat regions for Events, Ministries, and Assignments
On supported paid-license setups, the description field can show an AI Generate action while the field is editable.

If your worship, ushering, or kids team already hands around a recognizable rota sheet, convert that structure into a reusable template once and keep using it.
